The stock screen is great in city speeds, very nice on the freeway with no head winds, in fact, most times I feel like there is a screen deflecting wind I can't see.
With the CA Sience tech screen installed, it got much better, the slight/drastic wind blast turned into something I haven't felt in many years (my Z is my 15th bike in 25 years), buffeting, not bad, but something I now of from riding older bikes and friends bikes.
The screen has a distance, about an inch and a half (yes allot), from the dash to the plastic, this gives it a good amount of anti buffeting flow, welcomed by me. I think riders 6 foot or under would find this screen much better than I did. I loved it, but being 6'3 has many downfalls, this is one of them.
The biggest plus for me with this screen is it's sub-10 minute sawap. seriously, I can go from urban cowboy, street fighter wanna be, super street nut job into law abiding, tax paying, Tour Master wearing (I do have that suit also) rider.
And that is this screens biggest draw. It makes the Z a convertable ride, something I can love fighting the urban super slab, but also love dooing the micro-touring trip.
So, it gets a Zoid thumbs up, ease of install, feature laden featues, quazi-tolerable looks and a price to function leverage that makes it add to the Z's already street/freeway usability a plus.
Good mod, but with an asticic downside.
