The 2011 Ninja 1000 comes in green and black in Canada, I asked my dealer to look up some part numbers I found to see if he could get them, he claims no. The fender and tail seem to be Z1000 parts, but I will need the side panels. Any ideas?

My brother's Ninja 1000 is that colour here in Australia. The tail section is not Z1000. It's a different size all together. Neither the pillion or rider's seat is interchangeable either much to my dismay. Guess it must have a completely different sub frame?

Holy crap!, Canadian bodywork is over twice the price we pay in the states. A side panel in candy red here is about $125, the same cover in Canada in green is over $300!!. I wonder what other country sells bodywork in green?

daskraut, I too lusted for the candy-lime Ninja1000. On June 2nd, after being out of the bike world for 25yrs, a local central Florida dealership relieved me of 10k+ and put me in the saddle of a new black one. With more then 900 miles, and the 600 mile service completed, I've been burning up I-95 and I-4 on an almost daily bases. The throttle on this sweet ride is intoxicating. Hopefully my maturity will kick in before it's too late. My co-workers have the over/under at 6 months. That's over the ground or under the ground. They want my seniority. With 5+ yrs until retirement, I'm trying to be safe. Greetings to all.....Peace out Dan

One would think that since the Ninja1000 is in the first year of production and "if" the US 2012's are Candy-Lime, then that body work would fit the 2011 bike. That's the best of both worlds. Months of great riding and replacement panels at US prices. I'd be very interested myself. The candy-line Z1000 had me till the last second...
