What is the power difference? I understand they made some changes. Im looking for more power down low. Will the 07+ carry the front end without clutch? Looking at one with a powercommander and slip on's.

06 -08-11 Big Zeds

I had a new 06, then a new 08 (lime) and now a 11 (lime and black). Although I dont wheelie (on purpose anyhow), this may help:

  • The 2006 (03 model) was great, but more top end fun. It was a little more powerful but because it was so differnt it was difficult to compare the two. I topped it out at 253 indicated Km/h
  • The 2008 model was better overall and pulled better from down low almost to the top (06 may have been a little stronger than the 08 at the top)
  • I have only got 2000 km on the new one and I am happy with it. If I could have - I would have kept the 08 as well. You wont go wrong moving to the leter version. I had no complaints with the bike - enjoy
