I purhcased the 55w 6000k H7 just for low beam but they do offer low and high I read that ballasts dont like being flicked on and off all the time

Low and high
HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning

Hope that helps waiting to get mine in
If you install this kit does that mean that both lights stay on at the same time? I hate the single light at a time crap.

What Rick said . . . . there's a guy on eBay who sells a kit for 75 bucks and 25 shipping. 100 bucks in the door and it is truly a plug and play setup. Very nicely crafter and you get to pick what they'll look like based on heat range. Mine look great and went on just fine. I parked tha ballast right behind the wind screen and have had Zero problems with them. Because of their load, the engine starts and THEN the lights come on. I don't know about the 2010, but the 06 uses H7 (I imagine the 2010 does also). I have no problem recommending them to you.
PS remember to tell him you need the spacers. The seller and I talked and he actually had a Plasma Blue 06 Zed like mine. Your dimmer switch functions as normally and I run with both bulbs lit.

Seems kinda corny but I just run both high and low beams all the time. It is cheaper then the mods and after 9 months I've passed many cops with no troubles, so far! I've read that some people that do this just lower the high beam to match the low beam level. My research leads me to believe that the '07 Z headlights have the wrong reflectors for HIDs. Even if it looks brighter it is more of a flood then a straight beam like true HID headlights.
You can correct me if I'm wrong it won't hurt my feelings at all. In fact I''d like to be wrong so I can install them on mine!
