I got a z1k 2010 with 1100 miles on the clock, last weekend and am seriously smitten.
I had a z750 beforehand and was just expecting a bit more oomph, slightly sharper brakes etc. but the new z feels like a completely different beast. The handling is so light, the engine just rips, gear box feels wonderful. What a bike!
Here's the bike next to my old z750 (now sold). It's amazing how much sharper the new bike is, compared to the old zed. The old z750 looks kind'a frumpy compared to the sharp z1k. I was going to get a 2009 z1k, so glad I didn't now!
