I am a new owner of a 2010 Z1000 and i only have one word WOW!I am coming from a 2007 SV1000s twin with full exhaust and tune and this bike has more power down low than my old twin.The cool thing about it is it has a a black tank and black plastics so its a one of a kind.I have only seen one new Z here in nebraska,so there already not as common as your CBR's and harleys.I have had it for several weeks and im just in love!

I traded up from a 2003 Z1000 to the 2010 Z1000...and the difference in power almost had me falling off the back of the bike!!

After a year+ of riding it, I am still in love.

Thanks guys really appreciate the feedback.There does not seem to be very much info out there on Z1000's.Glad to find a place were i can get some questions answered.I had a 1978 kz650 so i am very partial to the Z family and glad to be back!
