Hi all,
I just traded in my '10 650R yesterday for a Ninja 1000. 63 miles so far and I'm in love reith the bike!
My question is, which aftermarket parts listed for the '10+ Z1000 will fit the Ninja 1000. I'm having a hard time finding aftermarket support.
The parts I'm specifically interested in are:
Brake pads
Levers
Tail tidy kits

Thanks for any info!

Congratulation on the new bike! I'm lovin' mine.

Brake pads should be the same. I'm not so sure about the levers. The clutch lever should interchange but the Ninja uses a different master cylinder with a remote reservoir.

The pads could use some help for sure. They lack initial bite so it takes a good amount of lever pressure to get them to stop like the bike is capable.

I agree about the pads. My 650R had the same problem, albeit the brakes were much weaker anyway. But a switch to EBC HH sintered pads made a huge improvement over stock, both in initial bite and overall stopping power. I think I'll use those pads again.
