Just put on a Puig racing windscreen, and noticed a huge difference in wind resistance on my chest and helmet. It's about 8 inches higher than the stock plastic piece that did absolutely nothing. Yesterday's commute home was extremely windy and I felt like I was cutting through the wind with more ease than normal. Plus getting up to about 120 mph I did not feel like I was about to get blown off the back of the bike.

I have an 08 and found my puig race screen has brought wind from my chest at stock, up to my head. I am 5'11" so if your shorter it may be great. But it does give you a place to hide unlike stock.

To be honest, as far as I am concerned, a taller windshield totally ruins the look of this bike. I would rather battle a little wind than screw with the awesome looks of this bike. Just IMHO...

Besides, I just bought the Bell Star helmet, and it is rated as the most stable helmet on the market. And, it really IS stable - no matter how fast you go, it doesnt begin to buffet at high speeds. And, I kinda like how the wind hits your chest - it helps hold you upright on the slightly forward controls... Sure, over 120mph it begins to be a chore to hold on - but how often are any of us doing a buck-twenty regularly??
