This is very cool! :D
I have to agree!! :D
My son and I ride when he's in town or I'm up in Md. but my grandaughter is a lil young.. she's 4  I can see it now "look its grandad on is new z (at 92 years old)...."
My son and I are sharing a bike right now because I only have one, so we've never been able to ride together accept as a passenger. I hope some day before too long he can get a bike of his own so we could ride together.

It's great fun. I rode my FXDWG from here in S.Florida to my sons house north of Atl. Then we rode the "Dragon" and the Loop (Suches Ga.) We had a ball then I rode home in one fell swoop. I rode for 4 days and did 2000+ miles what a blast. Then he moved back to Baltimore. So I have to get together another trip. It is so much fun riding with your son. Hope you get another bike soon!:D

Just plain KEWL!!
How did you go about teaching your son? I started when I was 18 in probably the worst way - friend got a new 1987 Ninja and let me ride! I had been on his LTD305 about 4 times. I nearly killed myself multiple times on that Ninja.
Now 20 yrs later my son is 7 and looking at those 50cc dirt bikes. Problem is, I don't have a dirt bike and there is nowhere nearby to ride em if I did. I would like him to learn the basics early... before HIS friends get a Ninja!

we lived in the country and had relatives with land all around us. got him his first three wheeler when he was three years old.i can stiil remember following him around the yard holding on the kill switch string. that didn't last long. it had a screw on the throttle to limit speed . it wasn't long before i caught him turning it out. in the winter we had snowmobiles. when he was six he was driving a car in the field. and on and on. find a friend with some land and get him a dirt bike. otherwise check where you live for classes. what ever you do , doit with him. they grow up fast.
