Hi - Strange thing happened today with my ignition. The ignition turns left to put the steering lock on but doesn't turn right to turn the ignition on. When I eventually get it to turn, sometimes the bike turns on when I press the ignition button but sometimes it does nothing, no sounds or very little etc. Key works fine in the petrol tank and under the seat. Same problem with the spare key. Any suggestions on what could be the problem?

Someone hasn't been messing with your ignition barrel? Attempted theft or superglue?

Doesn't look like it, it's parked underground at work and in the garage at home. Thought it may have been a bit of dirt but can't see anything, even sprayed the key with a little WD...

Update, I got frustrated and forced it and all of a sudden its working fine again!

Fire some switch cleaner,or a little light oil into the switch,maybe it has had water in at some stage.

The keys also pick up everything from our pockets, then whatever that is gets shoved into the cylinder. You know, our spliied weed, or cocaine. Crack rocks. Syringes. Bullets All the stuff from our pockets.

i'd put some graphite in there to keep it working good. And if it was cocaine when you forced it free, is it now crack cocaine?
