I figured a lot of people have had this idea so i am posting it. I put the flat black 2011 panels on my bike and left the tail silver. also have 2011 front fender in black. I didn't really like the silver on the 2010 but like the tail staying silver. Feel free to share your thoughts, sorry the picture isn't the best I can add more later if anyone wants to see it before doing it.

haha i was looking at bar-ends this weekend, but I couldn't find any i like...the 3" circle bar ends just look funny in my opinion since the rest of the bike has hard angles, suggestions are welcome!

They don't look bad if you rotate them beneath the bars rather than over the top. I'm running one mirror right now, but I'm reasonably sure I'll use two. I'm not completely comfortable with the blind spot on the opposite side.
