i got to ride the Ninja 1000 at a kawasaki tricket to ride event in pomona Calif. i was blown away. the power was just right , maybe the HP is less than the ZX14 but who cares. it was plenty fast enough for me. the ZX14 is just to big,heavy and un comfortable. i would take the ninja 1000 over the ZX 14 .

dang wish they would give me a ninja 1000 to ride for 90 days. im sure its an awesome bike but if i was to buy a full faired bike, it would be a zx 10.
