Hello All,

I'm looking for another bike since I sold my last one for an engagement ring. My previous bike was a Brutale 750S and I'd like to get another streetfighter. IMO the Z1000 looks great 3/4 of the way around along with being more reliable and with less maintenance. The tail section on this bike is awesome.

Has anybody swapped out the front fairing for a single headlight?
Has anybody removed the front fairing?
Has anybody removed the fork protectors?

I'd like to see some pics of front end mods ya'll have done to your bikes.

Ya know, when I first saw the bike, I hated the fork protectors as well, and was considering removing them. But they have really grown on me - not only do they provide protection for the fork tubes, they make the front end of the bike look that much more beefy. So, Im keeping them - besides, makes cleaning the bike a hell of a lot easier as well (getting bug guts out of the fork sliders can get tough - but no need with these in place!)

I just took off the fugly reflectors. Makes it look better.

i agree . easy to clean is very high on my list. i've never cleaned my bike at the car wash,yet. i use a waterless cleaner . 5 minutes and i'm riding. probably one of the easiest bikes to clean that i've owned.front end has grown on me.
