So I thought some of you might enjoy seeing the progress of my build as it happens. As the Bike sits now she has Akrapovic Exhaust, Pazzo Levers, Frames sliders etc. She is now going to have:
Rear Swingarm Powder Coated in black
Rims Powder Coated in Gloss Black
Custom Adjustable Fender Eliminator kit
Integrated rear brake lights/turn signals
Dual Headlight mod with HID's
Front running lights that will be white while running and flash orange when turn signals are on
Rizoma Mirrors and Grips
Ceramic Coated exhaust box under bike to make it blend in
LED's in frame and around motor for a nice glow at night for safety
Powder Coated rear brake lever and linkage
Powder Coated shifter and linkage
Powder Coated gas cap

My Baby was picked up yesterday by Tripage who will do all the work for me. If you frequent any of the big CBR Forums I am sure you have seen their work. Second to none in my opinion.

As she sits now:

And her Ride to the Tripage Shop:

I will post all the photos as they come in. I am expecting 2-3 weeks for total build since the light mods will be developed as they go and will need to wait for those parts.

Got ALL my PC'ing done by Tri for my CBR. He does a great job and at a fair price. He, however, didn't pick up my bike from Chicago here! Sent him the parts, waited about a week and a half from when I sent them out and they came back great. I also want to PC the Zed's gas cap. He'll be doing that at some point also. I'm sure all that added black will make the bike look SO much more easy on the eyes. Hope it all goes smooth...

Yeah, being only an hour or so has its advantages for sure. He did my CBR, my Wife's Ninja, my buddies Duccati and just did my buddies CBR1000. His powder coating and LED work is great. I can't wait to get some updated photos on my bike all pulled aprt.

DadzZ1000, how do you like that windscreen compared to the stock one.
Night and day difference. You really dont get beat up by the wind at all. I am 5'10 and the wind hits me at the very top of my helmet now. Don't do much highway running, but it is not bad on the highway. I do mostly back roads and commuting and at speeds 80 and below it almost feels like a bike with full fairings.

Looking sweet Dadz!!!!

Just looking at the first pics, I note that you already have a fender eliminator on it. But your post says that you are going to have a custom adjustable one put on it... Do you have any plans for the current fender eliminator you have on there? Wanna sell it cheap??? (Im scronging over here! Was gonna just fashion one myself at the hardware store, but would prefer something nice...) Lemme know!

That settles it - Im gonna have to powder coat my wheels next winter!! LOOKS SICK!

Actually had the rims of the 03 powder coated as well. Might as well do it on this one!

As for the fender eliminator - I built one for under $5! Its not technically legal, as there is no light for the plate and no blinkers, but I have the integrated taillight on order and I should get it within the next week - that will be bright enough to light the plate and has blinkers built into it. But I may still be interested in your used one, if the price is right and shipping down cost an arm and a leg...
