I just got a pair of Rizoma grips in the mail today, I'll put em on tomorrow, I haven't had a chance to feel em yet, but i'll send pics once i get em on =) Also got the weighted bar ends because im debating which mirrors im going to switch to. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not so into the style on the CRG ones, and I am debating if these ducati viper ones will really allow me to see behind better, or if i should go for some bar end mirrors. Here are the links to the ones I kinda like so far =)

Just got the blacked out ones of these:
Rizoma Universal Sportline Billet Grips

Debating between these mirrors:
Kawasaki Z1000 with Ducati Viper #7 Alloy Mirrors-pair - eBay (item 110644843774 end time Mar-06-11 07:28:23 PST)

and these:

wow nice bike, those are some expensive mirrors you like, but then again if you can afford them go ahead. hehe the ducati vipers look much like the stock mirrors and the rizoma look like they belong on a trail bicycle:dontknow: just my opinion, how about some pictures of your bike so i can drool for lil.

Like the ducati mirrors, they give off that exotic look.

Some of those crash protectors are...kinda ugly, if you ask me.

Check this site - they carry Rizoma parts, which are VERY high quality...although a bit expensive. I have the Rizoma engine guards on my Z, and they look great. Also got Rizoma axle sliders and lower engine guard from here.

Im loving some of the mirrors, but cant afford $300+ for them...

@Crates How do the engine guards look?
They look awesome - billet aluminum mounts with replaceable pucks on them... $225 for the pair - not cheap, but WAYYYY better looking than the ones in the links above, IMHO.

Here is a direct link to them:

WOW, those are nice!! The silver and black Rizoma's fit your bike perfect. Well done my friend. =)

Looks like you also have the right side lower guard and some carbon fiber of the left? Nice.

thanks... actually if you look at my signature all parts are listed.

The carbon fiber is from powerbronze. If you go that route;make sure you skip their chain guard it fits all wonky. I will probably get the rizoma one later on.

best part : the combination of the hugger and the Evotech tail tidy and where it positions the license plate actually significantly reduces the amount of dirt that gets thrown up on my back seat and jacket I would say it's cut 75%! (* on a day where the roads are damp but it is not raining)
The hugger is longer and the plate blocks most of it!
The stock rear fender on these bikes is a joke.

You must either be single or rich or both. I am neither :p You have every Rizoma part I want (including the Circuit 751 mirrors), but I can only afford to buy one like every three months if Im lucky!!

IM JEALOUS!!! Bike looks great man!! I gotta ask - do the mirrors work? Last time I paid $300 for a pair of mirrors, I got a great view of my elbows...Im thinking maybe bar end mirrors this time...

Oh yeah - that what you said about PJs Parts - I absolutely agree. I get all my Rizoma stuff from them.

Wow sick looking z man!! I really like the mirrors too, but yeah, do they work well. Im concerned about bar end mirrors because my hands kinda hand towards the end of the grips as it is, dont want to feel cramped on there.
