Jim, I hope you show up for this.... Bring the son as well. I have a feeling we are going to need a Jap bike presence there. I believe Danielle and I are are both riding over that day.

Yeah, we'll be there unless something comes up. I'm sure it'll be a throng of pirates and assless chaps so a few more Jap bikes will help even it out.
Sweet! I am trying to get as many of my sportbike friends as possible up there. (there isnt too many, lol)

Talked to my kid and he's planing on going for sure. He's got a G Body Olds with a Chevy 350 he's been building on and wants to take that down. He figures he'll have his GF drive the car so he can ride his GPz.

That plan made sense to me. I agree, we need as many sport bikes as we can get. Too many pirates on farm equipment, not enough motorcycles around these parts. :D

If you've ever heard an old 2 cylinder John Deere run you've heard the Harley sound. Everything about them is agricultural. But agricultural from the 40's. Giant controls, heavy slow moving parts, crude castings.

Heck, the 60's Sporties used a Wico magneto that looks like they pulled it straight off an old JD.

My buddy just bought what was supposed to be a cruiser, lol. (His previous bike ['82 Yamaha Maxim 750]caught fire when he was changing the oil) He told me last year that he didn't need a sportbike; he needed to slow down. So this year he bought a '97 Yamaha YZF 1000R (predecessor to R1). I wonder if he will put highway bars on it!?

Anyways, he should be there. I hope to have my friend on his ZRX 1200R there as well. :D
