my bud has a 09 V MAX, it has a cat eliminator pipe and a PC V. how about 181 RWHP and 115 lbs tq. all stock it made 173 RWHP. yes it is heavy 650 lbs. but the weight makes it a great drag racer. it is fun to ride.

Yeah, I love the VMAX. I looked at the 2010 models before I bought my Z because I was looking at literbikes at the time, but damn they want a lot of money for em! I could've bought a ZX14, my '03 Z and had some money to spare for the same price as a new VMAX. They do look comfy and fun though.

we did some roll on races from 2nd and 3 rd gear. V MAX vrs SUZUKI B KING. the V MAX pulled away every time. the B KING is powered by the BUSA engine. i am sure above 125 mph the B KING would finally pull ahead. ????

sat on one when i bought the z. was too big for me. if i wanted heavy i would have kept the zrx. if was 4 inches taller probably would hve kept it. th z feels even lighter with the new muzzy.:screwy::screwy::screwy:

Local Dealer let me test ride one when they first came out. Light? No. Fast? YES!!! Smooth dependable power anywhere in the RPM range. I would love to have one, unless Kawi decides to bring the Eliminator badge back into its full glory....not the diary of a wimpy kid 125 that it is now; but the fire breathing, rubber smearing, shaft driven beast of '86 that was the ZL900 Eliminator.

The vmax is a beast for sure but i still prefer the z over it when riding, Dont ask me how I know.

I agree that the new V-Max is a cool bike and makes some really impressive numbers, but if you compare the horsepower-to-weight ratio, the Z is still a better bike performance wise. On top of that, the Z will definitely outmaneuver that pig of a bike.

And after riding so many cruisers, I can tell you that won't be a comfortable bike for the long haul...

EDIT: Looking at the ergonomics more, it really looks like the riding position is closer to standard than cruiser. Maybe it is a comfortable bike?

Cool thing with the B-King is it was only imported in 08. I love rare. I think the original B-King consept looked wicked, when it it the dealer, it lost allot of that original look.
