So im new on this forum. And i have a 08 ZX10, and i know bike decently well. I am about to buy a 2006 Z1000 for 2500 bucks. It has 12000 miles and needs a little work. A front headlight, and a front tire. Thats about it. took it gor a ride and everything seems great. Is this a good deal?

If you're satisfied with the mechanicals, no strange engine noises etc, then I would think that was a great deal. I got an 06 and gave $4,000 for it. It had 5214 miles and Two Brothers slip-ons and had been meticulously cared for.

ya I think thats a pretty good deal I paid $6000 for my 07 with 4200 miles but the dealer threw in a 2 year warranty and 6 free services.

paid 5,200 for my green 2004 Z1000 last spring. it had just under 10,000 miles on it. no problems and very happy.
