Not bad...Ive got maybe 50k miles on bikes so my experience may be different then others....

Rebuilt front suspension over 12k miles ago.....Sucks...DEAD
Rear 636.......Havent adjusted it yet...But...Sucks..DEAD
1< front sprocket....Fantastic
PC3....I think the major plus....Hugs and Kisses..
Speed....Great but controllable based on driving style...
Corbin....Great under 100 miles
Stock guages...Close to suck during sunny days..little crap buttons
Akra---4-1......Hear me coming peeps...Hugs and Kisses

Bikes Great But isnt truely a 1000..Shoulda been called the Zed 900

But that isnt a bad thing either..

Lighter weight and shorter which is fantastic..If half of everyone thinks its a 600 tell them to get their buddies and bring $100 and peel my 1000 stickers off...

The bike has allowed me to be safe and crazy at will(Use Your Brain) and is a safe and powerful bike.....Suspension isnt the best but its still good enough to ride with slight issues...None that seem like your lifes in jeopardy....It just keeps you waiting...Which isnt a bad thing either...Always waiting for your bike to make a sudden move..

Guages on the 03....

I seem to speed more at night I think because the guages are easier to see...During the day that flat grey and black just blow...I look to hard and long during day time driving

Speed...

I dont blast the bike and try to wheelie etc....But I get into it hard and nasty....Bike likes to come up 3 inches during straights on shifting but when you factor in speedo being off its a tad slow for "Me"...But its Controllable....Which is the good thing again.....LOL...It keeps me in charge and not my bike....

Overall Im super stoked that I got this bike and a great price locally..Fits my style to a tee....A tad loose a tad too controllable...
....

But in 5 years from now if they

Offered a zx-14 in Z1000 style and weight per HP.......Well Id buy it

This bike is a great tribute to the KZ900-KZ1000 and Z1....

I have a '77 KZ1000, and an '03 Z1000. I love them both, but my favorite is the '77. 50,000 miles huh? you must not ride very much, lol.

Enjoy the bike!!
