sadly I will not be putting my deposit down. I like everything about it except the fixed headlights. It's just too high up, plus naked bikes should have the headlights attached to the forks, not the frame. Also 526 pounds, she's not a lightweight.

Pictures are from 1000PS

Tempting, but I still think the Gen 3 looks better.

I'm with you man, I think the gen-3 is the best looking of all the generations, though this bike is technically not a Z1000. I just hope people buy the Z-H2 so that in 4 years Kawasaki updates it with a better looking front end. Something a bit more "naked" than what we got. I'm a bit gutted to be honest, I was 99% sure this was my next bike as I was already leaning towards the regular H2, so long as the front wasn't hideous, I was all in. And I'm in the minority that thinks the H2 front end looks brilliant, it just doesnt translate to the lines of what a Z should be.

...and in a crazy twist, the Ducati Streetfighter that was show today as well has the front that I was HOPING that the Z-H2 would have. The Duc actually looks spot on!

My thoughts....

Yeah - hefty old girl isnt she....yes the whole front in its oem form does put me off alot....

I think my gen4 is the best of the bunch at the moment....still got more mods planned.

In defence of the H2 - it "could" look better if all the **** oem stuff is removed....from what i can see initially...

Rear tail tidy
Mirrors
bars (replace with straight ones)
Exhaust

starting with that lot it could look bearable....i think aftermarket CF producers may be able to sort out the front....and yeah, in agreement - the light should have been fitted to the front...

On the plus side....my friend has an ecu flashed H2SX which puts out 260 at the wheel - and ill be pretty sure theres a fair bit of weight to be lost on that....like the gen4....

Yep, it's like the Gen4 stylists went over to Ducati and brainstormed how to do a Gen5. I always struggle to understand how styling goes backwards. If they were told it had to be a fixed headlight they probably gave up trying.
