Questions about raising first gen

Hello, i have a 2005 z and it was lowered 2 inches both in the front and the rear. I am looking at raising the bike back up and would like to know how i should go about lifting the bike in order to change the lowering links in the rear. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately my kickstand is not strong enough to hold the weight of the bike so i cannot tip the bike onto it.

I have a long extension that I slide through the swing arm bolt and set it on jack stands one on each side of the bike. Takes the weight off the swing arm, change shock or links. I would go with the stock style links. A friend on here tried the Soups adjustable and it made contact with the shock spring and unloaded the spring and one of the Spring keepers was able fall Out! If he hadn't had the rear drop in the driveway could have killed him at highway speeds! Great Day All!
