I don't consider myself someone that goes for gimmicks, but I saw this little device (tinyurl-dot-com/y418ro6f ) and I sure wouldn't mind if the clutch pull was a little lighter.
Anyone use one of these yet? Any warnings/concerns/ etc.?
I wish I could but apparently I am only allowed to post URLs after I have reached the 10 post mark ... but if you remove the spaces before and after the "." then it should work.
"For KAWASAKI Z1000 Z 1000 2007 2008 2009 2010-2016 Motorcycle Accessories Stunt Clutch Pull Cable Lever Replacement Easy System"
Can't say as I've seen a cable lever replacement before. Looks like it changes the leverage in the cable system to make it take less force.
Try exercising your grip more. Weight training has seriously made using my clutch noticeably easier, and it's made it easier to grip the bike and hold myself upright.
those things are pure garbage, it introduces additional slop and makes your engagement point be all over the place.
If you want a lighter clutch either get the Magura HyMec hydraulic clutch cable conversion kit (about $220), or install the slip assist clutch basket from the 2017 and up Versys or Ninja 1000 (about $450), or do the combo of the two and you'll be clutching with your pinky.
Awesome, definitely something to look at, thanks 😉
