Los Angeles & Orange County Owners ...

Is there a group a newbie can connect with - I live in the Hollywood Hills & have been riding for over 50 years but finally got my Dream Bike, a 2016 Z1000ABS.

I have of course, spent some of that time in Hospital ER's horizontal & banged up.

Buying this Bike after being away from riding for 18 months healing from the last accident is probably a Death Wish however the Sugomi is the most exhilarating experience on two wheels - if it wasnt for an impromptu Test Ride a month before I was run over, I was ready to hang up my Boots for good.

But this isnt a Motorcycle to me personally, the Z1000 is an emotional, sensory experience like no other.

It's the Breath of Life & if you feel the same way I do about this Model, it would be great to meet locally when time allows, talk #@&◊ & go a Million Miles per hour while idling at Stop Lights ...

MadDevill,

San Francisco sounds like a great excuse to test out the bike when it arrives around mid February - it only has 900 miles & is being transported from Boca Raton Florida where the seller lives. It's not even broken in.

There is a great guy I spoke to on the phone while shopping that has a little shop up in the Dublin area who gave me some tips.

Bottom line; Any reason to ride this bike distance anywhere is a smart reason.
