new can for muzzy headers gen 4

Hey everyone. I have muzzy full system on my 2012 z1000. I bought it used and the can is all scratched to hell. Do any of you guys know what other silencers will fit on these headers?

thanks for the help!

A diameter measurement would help too.

Measures out to roughly 2" OD on the headers. So about 2" ID on the silencer.

I thought it was bigger (story of my life).

Is that a single exit system? You'll need to be a bit more accurate than "about 2 inches".... Vernier gauge measurement would be preferable...

Yep. Single exit system. Found my calipers. 53mm OD on the pipe and 54 mm ID in the current silencer.

I thought abotu this one when I saw your Muzzy...

Holeshot Performance Products, Inc.

Cost is pretty reasonable and it looks good.

I actually modded my stock headers already. I cut off the cat and welded an old school glass pack on there. It's loud as hell and sounds mean but of course performance is limited by the stock header diameters.

I'd go pick up a can that you think will look good, then have a midpipe made for it. Shouldn't cost more than $50 for the midpipe, at most.
