knightrider city light mod

project in progress.. still debating on the led to use..
but or sure its doable and getting there, the factory uses 3030 led, i was planning on 5630s almost like the rev gauge, pic below with small 3030 oem and 5630

What's the vision kobi? What is this going to look like?

ď Engineering is the art of modelling materials we do not wholly understand, into shapes we cannot precisely analyse so as to withstand forces we cannot properly assess, in such a way that the public has no reason to suspect the extent of our ignorance." - Dr. AR Dykes

I think you should put a frosted vinyl on the inside of the lens to hid the separate LED's better.

I don't understand any of that, but I'm wondering if I will be able to keep constant white, and then switch to night rider of a different color...

should be same color as the city light/headlights for me..
changing color leds has less lumens.. imagine the citylight with 2 at a time doing the knight rider pattern.. if one was bright imagine 2 going back and forth

LEDs are Osram Power TOPLED (PLCC4, 3.4 x 3.0mm). 50mA, charlieplexed with only four wires going to the housing
