You should have a tab on the bottom of your headlight that the peg and rubber damper should slide into. See Pic. Is the tab broken off or is that a new HL assembly?

Yep. I have the traction control unit and self mapper. I got the self mapper because, at the time, there were no maps available for a full Muzzy and they didn't support Bazzaz.
