Comfort Seat?

Anyone have a aftermarket seat on there 4th gen? I looked at Corbin but there solution is huge and is a 2 person seat. I had a Corbin on my 3rd gen and loved it but am looking for something a little more comfortable than stock.

Have a Sargent. It's about the same as the stocker, at least for my 2010.

Will probably go with this in the future. Do you know can you still put a cowl on the rear with that seat?

I looked around and didn’t really like any of the aftermarket seats. The r seat does look a little firmer, but still fairly thin. I wanted more cushion on the a$$bone but still want to slide into the “pocket” and feel low into the bike in the curves. I figured if I’m going to buy another seat I don’t even like for several hundred dollars I really have nothing to lose by trying to mod my own. I peeled forward the seat cover and slid in a 2”x 6” piece of memory foam. I trimmed and tapered it and stapled the cover back down. Came out better than expected for a first try, and initial test ride feels positive.

Usually after about a tank of gas my butt is burning and I want to keep going but I can’t take it. Hopefully this will be the solution. Doesn’t look too bad next to stock, but you can see the difference.

When the rear starts to hurt I always try to “roll” back to find the cushion, and there was none. There is now. I may refine a little but so far I’m happy with it. Cost $5 to try

Life is short.. better ride fast

Verdict is in. It works! Put 160mi and about 3 1/2 hrs ride on today and 90% better. Actually took a lot of the hard ride feeling out of it as well.
