Kawasaki oil synthetic

Wondering if anyone has noticed more oil consumption at highway speeds with the full synthetic oil over the semisyn or conventional oil

this is interesting. I was thinking of switching to Synthetic but kind of not sure since there will be no easy way back!

hope you get some feedback.

I haven't noticed any oil consumption either way. Shift feel seems to hold up a little better on synthetic oil, but that's a small difference.

I've put about 47,000 miles on my bike, with changes every 6,000 to 8,500 miles. I've used conventional, part-synthetic, and synthetic oils.

Original oil

Kawasaki conventional

Castrol Part-synthetic

Some other oil

Motul part-synthetic

Castrol Synthetic

I still have some of the part-synthetic sitting around that I think I'll finally use this year.

We tried Rotella T6 in my son's 03. Worked great. No clutch slip and it seems to last as long as the $12 a quart synthetic we were using. I'll be putting it in my ZX14.

Yep. Have been using RT6 for a few years now. No consumption. No slippage.

Been using fully synthetic in mine for the last 4 years. Ive never had a problem with clutch slippage or more oil being burnt. Been using Silkolene fully synthetic since day one. Im now at just under 14k.
