i dont even have an exhaust valve on mine. just going by what some of the tech gurus on here have said. definately wasnt worth arguing about but its all good.

See attached dyno charts from Akrapovic, bolt on cans which retain stock headers and junction box, and only remove end mufflers and thus valve. No ill side effects..if your arguement was valid it would run like **** in the low end and need a fuelling device to fix it, which is not true..

you are a naive for suggesting people NEED a fuel tuning device for simple removal of the servo valve..

i will find my charts when I get back to the workshop for you..

Clearly the 'powerbands' are suffering on these two charts !!

Here another Slip On example of where they have removed valve..

well i can admit if i am wrong. of course an exhaust manufacturers dyno chart is going to show only an increase in power across the board. would like to see someone on here before & after dyno run with a stock bike compared to an aftermarket exhaust instead of an inflated manufacturers dyno chart. but like i said if im wrong i can admit it. so according to that dyno chart i am. so be it. i still say that the exhaust valve isnt for noise restriction & has an affect on power.

from motorcyclist magazine
Exhaust is handled by a 4-2-2 exhaust system with a belly-mounted pre-chamber. This allows the mufflers to be lighter and more compact than before. A valve in the right muffler maximizes performance through its 11,000-plus rev range. Lastly, three emission-reducing catalyzers are also fitted within the exhaust. Engine power is shifted to the rear wheel through a cable-actuated clutch without slipper functionality and a 6-speed transmission paired to a chain/sprockets final drive system.

i was wrong in saying u would need a fuel controller to compensate for removing the valve but it isnt there for noise emissions. it does affect the power of the bike.
