Default Tires

My tires are worn out so time to buy another set, and need suggestions. I have a little over 3000/miles on my 2010 Z and the rear is getting close to being a slick. I normally ride "briskly" but it's mostly highway, just going point A to point B. On my gsx650's bt 020 I got a little over 11000 miles before they need replaced, and rode more back roads and a lot harder on those tires. They stuck to the road in the corners pretty good but there is a lot of difference in the torque in the two bikes. I want something that would give my at least double the 3000 but with decent grip.

bridgestone bt023's is a good tire. sticks good & has a hard compound in the center for highway riding.

Michelin pilot road 2 would also be a good choice

I've got Power Pure's on my Zed. I've done 6000km's on them so far and are about halfway through. Love em to bits, but definitely not as many km's as the Road 2's or 3's.

Hey - I got a Pilot Road 3 for the rear only a couple of weeks ago - so not too much to report - went for a spirited ride today and hit a little rain - all good dry and wet is my report apparently they last well too.

I will be anxious to hear how well they last and if you have any issues with them. I went with the 2's again since the 3's had come out fairly recently. Wouldn't mind upgrading if it is worth it.

I mainly ride around town but every now and i get itch to grab a handfull down a straight and get in some corners. I tried out a set from Full Bore USA and i have nothing to complain about them.

Well I was thinking of getting a set of pilot road 2's, but being the cheap bastard I am, I opted to go with the pilot power 2ct's, since I had a front laying around from the track bike. and usually ride the Z like it's a super sport anyway, can never have enough grip
