I noticed this switch on the clutch side of the handle bar controls. It is on the front side opposite the blinker switch. Does anybody have this on their bike, and what does it do? This pic is not of my bike by the way. I can't make out what the lettering says. This might be a euro spec bike, but I know it is a Z1K from the pic.

I had one of those on my Buell Lightning. The Lightning's lights were interesting in that one headlight would be on for low beam, and the other headlight would be on for high beam, but both would be on with the "pass" button held down. I re-wired it so both lights would be on when the high beam switch was flipped.
In the end, I find it just as easy to flip the high beam switch than to press and hold that silly pass button.
I guess the Japanese don't think we need to warn anybody in the States to pass...they know we just inform them that they have just been passed with our after market exhaust. I am glad that the US market did at least get a throttle switch thingy, I know dang well what that doo hicky is...I think? It's the thing that makes my gas gauge meter blink rapidly.
