i dont think we are ever finished buying stuff for our bikes. its an addiction. my only limits to my mods is money.

I went for a nice ride today, and returned home at around 330pm. When I walked inside, I found the box for my "Targa" fender eliminator sitting on the dining room table, (brother brought in the mail). What a nice suprise. I decided to get to work with the installation. Wow, it looks so much better now. Along with the kit came a set of aftermarket rear turn signals. They are about half the size of the stock signals. The bike is really coming along, looking better every few days. The handle bar-end mirrors should be here by Tuesday or Wednesday, and the new Corbin seat will be here a week from next Wednesday. When I have received and installed the bar-end mirrors, I will be taking some pictures, and I will post them.

I just got in Barnett clutch, pc3, galfer braided brake lines with new pads, and alpine stars boots. Still waitin on integrated taillight, frame sliders and inserts for the brawlers ended up having to pay $100 for those.

Today, Wednesday, I am to receive my Corbin seat. I must say, I can not really complain about the stock seat, but I'm sure the Corbin will be even better. I didn't order the rear seat since I don't intend to carry any human luggage. Besides that, if the human luggage is not comfortable with the paper-thin stock seat, she should order her own, right? Right!

Yesterday I took the bike for a nice ride. The new Corbin seat is what I had expected, it is a bit more comfortable than the stock seat. The thing I really like about this Corbin, it has a very subtle indention toward the rear of the seat for one's butt to sit in. The stock seat tends to slide my butt close to the fuel tank when I am riding in town, stop & go traffic, creating a nut-cruncher device. The Corbin pretty much resolves this issue, and it beats having to wear a cup.
As far as the looks of the seat go, I ordered mine in just plain black leather, and it does not stand out as being an after-market seat..which is what I wanted. I could've selected from all different combinations of color for the top section/side section, different types of leather, ordering the seat top embroidered with a design, etc. The seat does have the "Corbin" logo embroidered on the right side. Examining the seat, there were absolutely no defects, and is top notch.
The price with the freight was $300. I feel it is well worth it.
