Default Z1000 Aftermarket Parts

I am currently shopping for some aftermarket parts for the Z1000. Does anyone know what manufacturers currently make parts for the 2010 model?

I'm curious about the availability of a smallish-medium sized windscreen. One of the few things I think would improve this bike.

New to the forum. From Texas. Once I sell my Concours 14 I will get the 2010 Z1000. Found this site. Some pretty cool stuff on here.

I've currently got a Puig screen on order, but it's backordered. It's been 2 months so far. I'll post pics when I get it.

I'm interested in a gel seat as well, but haven't done much searching yet.

If you ask me, that stuff is incredibly overpriced. $50 for a pair of plugs that say Rizoma that cover the hole in the frame where the swingarm attaches?? WTF? Nearly $1800 for Akropovic slip-ons?? You can get the same pair on the Akro website for $1200. $165 for a tail tidy - you can get one on eBay for $98, made by Evotech. $700 for Two Bros slip-ons in aluminum - you can get the exact same pair on eBay for $560. $930 for the same pipes in carbon or Ti - you can get the carbons on eBay for $740 and the Ti for $780...and Im pretty sure that shipping doesnt cost $140+!!!!

Nice stuff, but I wouldnt buy from these guys unless money was no object and I wiped my butt with $100 bills. Seeing as I dont, I wont be buying anything from that site!

I agree thier stuff is over priced but, it also seems they have paid attention to details on thier products. Not so basic looking unless that is what you are going for.

Fer sure, the quality of the pieces is great - but the quality of the Evotech stuff is just as good if you ask me. And, its not like they BUILD Akropovic pipes...so why are they selling them for $600 more than Akro sells them directly off its website?!?!?! Same with the TBR pipes.

Because they are overpriced!!! Thats all Im saying....wont see me order anything from there. The mirrors are gorgeous...but not when I can find them cheaper elsewhere.

The akropovik system is like 1200 full system amer on ebay.
But im told you need an fi box to run it but akropovik says you dont which is BS i was a bike teck for many years and alll yur gonna do is run it lean without a box!
DAMAGE IS INEVITABLE!
I will put afull system and fi box on my bike in the next month or so!
Keep in touch ill let everybody know the result.
The numbers ive seen arent that great ...with the mods akropovik only claims 6 hP!
But we and or me and you will see....ride safe...Barry
