Default harley bashing

i never pass up a chance to bash Harley, for a short time i owned a 05 sporty and then a custom S&S powered pro streeter.
things i found out owning those bikes. you must dress and act like them or you are not welcome in their little world.
their is a pecking order.
most harley riders are so out of shape and fat a big HD with a huge seat is all they can ride. they also do not like sportsters . only HOGS will do.a high % are clueless as to what is good and what is bad. the AVG HD rider cant even change their own oil, butt can spend endless time telling you how great HD is.
no matter how many problems they have with their HD they think jap bikes have even more problems. on and on and on.

this poor guy showed up at one of our local HD watering holes on a very nice V ROD. he was justly so proud of it. i watched all the hog owners looking at each others bells and chrome. not 1 looked at his bike. as he drove off you could see the sad look on his face.
i love to park my victory 8 ball right in the middle of them hogs just to piss them off. my dream is for one of them to challenge me to a race i will tell him only if we race in front of every body their.
a HD rider could talk a HR over the good luck bell they all think is going to save them from a crash
what is it with the MIA patches or flags ???? i am a vet nam vet and i never had one. does this patch make him a better american than me ?????

That's why I love the true bikers. One of the guys I work with is all biker, and rides only Harley. But, he`ll be the first one to tell you HD makes a crap bike, and covers it well with pretty chrome covers. He just can't find anything he likes better.

He did rather like my Z, but it doesn't fit how he rides.

to give you an idea, this guy spins his own wrenches, and there is 90k on hos current 04 E-Glide.

yes those guys are out their. I have no problem with their love of all things hd. He would be the first one to tell you how great sportsters are. The newbies think of them as starter bikes. I had a new 05 1200 sportster and liked it.

I am a Harley owner. I am not fat, I wrench on mine when I can although I am limited. I like mine because it was my dads, he has owned many HD's in his time, died 2 months after he got the one I picked up from my mom for very little compaired to the original price.

I have been wanting a new bike and was either going with the Z or the Speed tripple. Kawi will not give me enough to make me trade it in and today I test drove the Speed triple twice, I was seriously thinking about getting it but being a dumbass I forgot to zip my jacket pocket and lost my checkbook on the second test ride. Had I not lost it I most likely would have puchased it. I had alot of power, had it up to 110 on a busy highway

We all see stereo typing but one thing I do know is that the convoy I saw this morning on the way to the dealership is not seen on naked or sprot bikes.
I would still like to trade but just cannot take that much of a loss.

You won't see the convoy of sport bikes because we loathe being stuck in traffic 3 inches from the guy next to you. I used to have to ride in those stupid formations when I went on rides when I worked for S&S. I prefer NOT to fall into a domino effect when one of the drunken idiots falls over.

And why is it they can't ever seem to get those giant roadblocks up to the speed limit? I spent Thursday and Friday dodging that crap in a tractor trailer for the Tomahawk Fall Ride.

They could at least learn to ride the bloody things. All stereotypes have a good foot in truth.

As long as you can find the negative to point out! Do i agree wieth everything, no, do I ride in those large groups, no because I doon't like the ride either. I believe in smaller groups like up to 5 so it is manageble and and not such a pain. I you ever rode with me you wold never complain about goint to slow I can assure you that.

So does this meen I can start picking out the stereo type of sport bike riders and that would clearly describe all of you?
I will not respond to this any more so you can bash all you want!

Keep the rubber side down
