Looks good to me. Brembo and Showas up front. Ohlins in the rear. The rest is golden. Hopefully it won't be a SS competitor though. We don't need another 1000cc redline bike. The best part of these is the midrange.

The new bike (surely they should have called it the Z1R?) is fully Euro4 compliant, while Kawasaki claim theyve managed to hit the emissions targets without any drop-off in power or torque over the existing engine
Sounds like it's gonna be the same engine.

This makes me laugh.... they basically added stock half the upgrades I put on my 3rd gen... steel braided lines, the exact same ohlin's rear shock I have on mine, a gear position indicator..... and even now the burnt orange! LOL

"We watched what everyone did to their bikes and complained about, then did half of that to it from the factory and charged even more for it."

Still gotta buy full exhaust and a tune. lol

An excercise in extracting money from the uninformed....a stocker with no miles on it and a massive box full of performance goodies would be yeild better results for the same price imo. The next logical step for the zed is a zx10 motor along with the electronics package. Having said that im more than happy with mine as it stands. Currently got my eye on a set of m50's (nice to see the stock pic of the r is using the same master cylinder which means im ok for that mod) and then a set of marchesini's...

Kawasaki would have a pretty hard time skirting emissions regiulations (decat, fuel cut eliminate) and still selling it as a street bike, wouldn't they?
