After almost 30 years of riding,Im simply saying...inspect your bike before every ride.
If your not doing so..hire someone who will.
Im just trying to help edjucate and save riders time and money.
Dont get me wrong,if you feel you cannot take care of or servce your bike properly GO TO THE DEALERSHIP!
I resect all the newbs for having the guts to get out there and fight it out on the streets, but inspect your ride daily and all will be good!

If you ask me, thats sending mixed messages.
I agree that you should inspect your bike before every ride. But prior to saying this, you were telling everyone that the recall was A WASTE OF TIME.
And, let's face reality for a minute here - you can inspect your ride all you want, but that is not going to prevent you from having an accident if you are out riding and are forced to get on the brakes hard due to some bone-headed move by a caged driver, and your front left brake line gets cut, leaving you with no front brakes. RIGHT??
Is it really worth risking your life over a fix that will take less than an hour and is free? It aint worth it to me! My ride is at the shop right now getting the recall fixed.
